Hello! How can we help you?

What does the German health insurance pay for a Trionic rollator?

All our Velopeds and Walkers are, according to the European standard for rollators (ISO-11199), fully tested and approved, and they are all registered as class 1 medical devices. The Velopeds and Walkers are therefore registered and accepted as rollators within the EU.

German health insurance companies work very differently, and some health insurance companies do not follow the laws for free trade within the EU. Some health insurance companies require a helpline number for the walker, but as we do not have German distribution partners, we cannot have one. Other health insurance companies only grant a subsidy for walkers provided by a medical supply shop with whom the health insurance company has a contract.

  • All round brilliant machine and super efficient people to advise.…

The Trionic 14er has made such a difference to my life. I pulled it out of the box and set off for a walk: down the slab path, and shallow steps, over the rough gravel drive, along the road and back to my door. The Trionic 14er is effortless to move.…

  • The Trionic walker gave me some of the freedom I had lost.…

The Trionic Veloped Rollator changed my life. I thought I would never be able to take walks again, but the Trionic changed that. Not only can I go on long walks, but I am able to hike many of the mountain trails that I love. I'm not saying I can go r…

  • New lease of life…

I am 84, and have a crooked spine as a result of a motor accident five years ago, which means that it is painful for me to hold myself upright. I had not been able to take my daily walk for the last few months, and I had been unable to stand and chat…

  • secure…

I've now completed a longer journey with my Veloped and had the opportunity to test it thoroughly. We spent 14 days at the Baltic Sea. Walks on the beach and on varying pavement were no problem. Transporting it by bus was also straightforward. I don'…

  • Good concept for replacement…

I needed to replace a brake lever because the thread for the clamping screw was worn out. I looked for the instructions on this site and have to say it was super simple to replace the lever. Simply remove the handle, pull off the brake lever, remove …

  • A great product.…

I am 93 and was always a lively walker until a problem with my legs occurred a few years ago. That resulted in my walking with a stick - not very satisfactory. Rollators are not so common in the UK, and when my Swedish relative suggested one, I r…

  • I have found the Trionic Walker excellent…

I have found the Trionic Walker excellent, as I have numb fingers tips, I am able to collapse the handle down with the clip locks, which has helped in keeping my independence.

Well done, Lads. I hope you keep going strong with your Walkers.
