When am I eligible for Wmo tailored support? (Netherlands)
In most municipalities, an ordinary rollator falls outside the Wmo. But when a standard rollator demonstrably does not suffice — for example because you live on uneven terrain, need to cover longer distances, or require extra stability for medical reasons — a municipality may consider a tailored provision (maatwerkvoorziening).
A good justification is decisive: a medical statement from your GP, occupational therapist or physiotherapist, plus a clear description of what you cannot do with a standard rollator and can with a Trionic Veloped or Walker. Whether it is granted is decided by your municipality on a case-by-case basis.
