Hello! How can we help you?

My brake is worn out, how do I change it?

If the brake pads on the brakes on your Veloped/Walker get worn out, you will need to replace the brakes in order to ensure a proper brake function.

Just follow these simple steps:

Step 1. Detach the rear wheel.

Step 2. On the inside of the brake, unscrew and remove the 3 screws with a Phillips screwdriver and then remove the black plastic brake cover.

Step 3. Compress the brake and you can “unhook” and remove the brake cable from the brake, through the 2 cable slots.

Step 4. Unscrew and remove the screw that holds the brake with a 4mm Allen key.

Step 5. Attach the new brake with the 4mm Allen key.

Step 6. Push the cable adjuster screw into the brake, align its nut, and pull the brake cable end through the slot of the brake and attach it.

Step 7. Attach the black plastic cover with the 3 screws (Phillips screwdriver).

Step 8. Attach the wheel and test the brake.

Step 9. If the brake tension needs to be adjusted, please see separate instructions for this.

  • Walker 12…

I bought the Veloped Tour 1.5 years ago and I'm very happy with it. The only problem was that the trunk of our car was too small. So I bought a travel rollator (it's not that expensive). We went to the North Sea and the travel rollator didn't meet my…

  • Rollator Walker 12er…

  • Expensive but unmatched performance…

I already had a pretty good rollator with hard rubber wheels a little less robust build. But on rough surfaces like my street or even worse trails, all the vibrations go straight to my arms - very uncomfortable. The Veloped solves all that with a stu…

  • Out on a snowy day!…

The Trionic veloped is excellent in the snow.
We had a good coverage of snow in Berkshire today. I was able to walk to work with support of the Trionic Veloped.…

  • Finally a stable rollator…

Finally a stable rollator that is big enough, doesn't get stuck everywhere and has good brakes. My husband is relieved and enjoys walking more safely with it. Unfortunately, he has fallen several times with previous standard rollators, e.g. getting s…

  • Comfortable Walker…

My Trionic Walker arrived on time as promised. A really efficient company to deal with. Already ‘test driven’ and really kind to arthritic neck and shoulders as there is hardly any vibration due to large pneumatic wheels. Also, walk from hips rather …
