Hello! How can we help you?

Are Veloped/Rollators paid for or subsidized by my health insurance?

All our Velopeds and Walkers are fully tested and approved according to the European standard for rollators (ISO-11199) (max user weight 150 kg), and they are all registered as Class 1 medical devices. The Velopeds and Walkers are registered and accepted as rollators within the EU.

Health insurance companies in different countries work quite differently, and some health insurance companies do not follow free trade laws within the EU. Some health insurance companies require an aid number for the rollator, but since we do not have a sales partner in your country, we cannot get an aid number. Other health insurance companies only grant a subsidy for a rollator that is delivered by a medical supply store with which the health insurance company has a contract.

Please contact your health insurance company to ask. If your health insurance provider requires a cost estimate, we will be happy to provide one. If the medical supply store recommended by your health insurance company contacts us, we will offer the medical supply store our dealer price list.

  • Getting back into the garden…

The Veloped Trek has allowed me to get back into the garden, see the plants, even prune an overgrown bush, hang out washing (exciting) and just experience my large backyard again.

  • A really great product…

  • There is nothing better.…

I wouldn't want to be without my Veloped anymore. I have trouble walking, and I also have COPD, so it helps me there too, as it's very smooth and maneuverable.…

  • FANTASTIC!!…

I purchased the Veloped because I have significant issues with balance and instability in my knees due to arthritis that result in a high risk for falling. These issues had severely limited me from outdoor activities like going to the beach just enjo…
