Hello! How can we help you?

How does the Cane holder work on the Trionic Veloped?

Veloped Cane Holder

The Veloped Cane Holder is a versatile 2-piece accessory designed to provide dual functionality: it securely holds a cane or walking stick, and when the Veloped is folded for transport or storage, it transforms into a reliable safety strap.

How to Attach and Use the Veloped Cane Holder

Rear Holder

To attach the rear holder, wrap it around the upper part of the rear vertical frame tube, just below the height-adjustment quick-release. It uses a Velcro strap to fasten, allowing you to adjust the tightness as needed. Any excess strap length should hang loosely. The rear loop is adjustable (loosen or tighten the Velcro) to accommodate the cane and maintain a rounded shape, ensuring a secure fit.

Front Holder

The front holder should be wrapped around an upper frame tube, just behind the basket-rail attachment. An anti-slip patch should face the frame to prevent the cane from sliding. This holder also uses Velcro with a similarly adjustable loop.

Inserting the Cane

To securely hold the cane, insert it through the rear holder first and then through the front holder. This threading method (from back to front) ensures that the cane is held securely by both loops.

Safety Strap Function

When you fold the Veloped for transport or storage, the holders also function as a strap to keep the folded frame securely locked. The same Velcro loops that secure the cane transform into a strap to hold the frame together.

Compatibility

The Veloped Cane Holder is compatible with all Veloped models. Additionally, the safety strap function can also be used with walker models.
