Almost 2 months ago my amazing rollator, the Trionic Veloped 14er M green arrived. The rain didn't stop me from taking my new best friend for a walk. From that moment I've not looked back. I do look forward to going out with it every day. I walk further and faster than I have done for years. Previously I used, and broke, 2 x 3 wheel rollators and 1 seemingly sturdy 4 wheel rollator. They couldn't take the strain.

I am, now, able to wander the woodlands and traverse grasslands too. Simple pleasures which have evaded me for too long. Now, in my 70s, my life is taking its second wind.
My very grateful thanks to everybody involved, in whatever manner, who have, in whatever way, contributed to help me find life outside the home, once more.

What was your concern with this review?
I am extremely satisfied with my Veloped Sport 12er M navy blue / red / white. So far, I have only used it for walks in nature and therefore mostly in a moorland with many transverse, exposed tree roots and boggy, soft passages. My Veloped overcomes all obstacles like an off-road vehicle! As an outdoor walking aid, it is unbeatable! Nevertheless, here is some tried and tested advice: I feared that the 14-inch wheels would be too heavy for dismantling and loading into the car. But even the 12-inch wheels are lighter than expected. That's why I would choose 14-inch wheels if I decided to buy it again today. Overcoming unevenness would be even easier!

we are extremely satisfied with the Veloped Sport 12er L. My husband feels very safe when he walks despite his difficulties in walking and standing. However, he still must diligently practise handling it.
The delivery also went smoothly and was on time.

My new Trionic walking partner
I had read positive reviews on the Trionic Sports Veloped after research on a suitable walking aid. I have been using Norwegian walking poles but my osteoporosis and arthritis were limiting my walking. I ordered one through Mobility Smart in Preston on October 4th and received it a week later. Since then I have walked 3 times my normal walk each day and today I walked at least 4-5 miles, which may not sound a lot but for me it was such an achievement ! I was stopped 3 times by someone asking about it, one lady even took a photo to send to her aunt saying it looked exactly what she needed ! Thank you ‘Trionic’ for giving me a new lease of life and enabling me to achieve my walking speed again. Wendy - Shropshire

I have had my Trionic Veloped for two years now and I am very satisfied with it.
It is easy to manoeuvre, stable, holds a lot and it looks cool. I have tried other walkers with puncture-free tires, but I get muscle pain in my arms from them. I do not get that with the air tires of the Veloped. The rollator works great in the woods. Here's a picture from spring last year when I picked lilies of the valley.

Not wanting to use a traditional walker
I'm a 73-year-old male. I have a long history of back problems. Until my most recent injury, I enjoyed long daily walks. I found that when using a grocery cart while shopping the support it gave me significantly reduced my discomfort.

Not wanting to use a traditional walker, I began an online search for a walker like a device that would give me more flexibility in choosing the places that I enjoy for my walks.
With the Veloped design, particularly the offset front wheels and the large tires, I can now go anywhere I wish.

The cover is fine and stays secure even in thunderstorms and rain. Leaving it for days under the scorching sun is not good - there is a risk that it will crack.

What was your concern with this review?
I am very pleased with my new Trionic walker. The main reason I bought it was that my previous walker had small solid tyred wheels and was very uncomfortable on my arms and wrists particularly if the ground was uneven.

My Trionic walker with its pneumatic 12” wheels is much more comfortable and the front wheels are very controllable. I can now walk longer distances easily. The walker is very solidly built and feels very safe.
My only worry is that if the path is sloped from one side to another as many footpaths are slight, there is a tendency to feel that the walker may tip sideways. This has never happened in practice and I imagine this problem occurs on all walkers. I use the excellent seat frequently and it is comfortable. The bag is also more useful than I expected when out shopping. We use a short bungee to fasten the two front wheels together when folding the walker. This is quick and easy and we can fold and lift the machine into the smallish boot of my Volvo XC40 snugly!
The walker is good on rough surfaces also.

I do enjoy my Trionic Veloped. However, I think the seat depth could be improved by making the rear verticals slightly further back (which would probably involve major costs!). Also, I do not find the front wheel combination very helpful and have considered removing one front wheel which would also reduce the front weight. The brakes are superb. Perhaps you might attempt a special model for gardeners.

What was your concern with this review?
I purchased this for my husband, but he will not use it, don't know why as he hardly walks anywhere as he is not very steady on his feet. Having said that I keep thinking I will make use of it myself. At the moment I have only moved it a short way, but it is SO lovely to walk with and the little 'basket' makes a lovely bed for one of my small dogs. Definitely worth every penny.
