In the spring of 2026, the Veloped will become part of the Swedish Museum of Technology's permanent exhibition on Swedish innovation. The model on display has been used since 2012, both in everyday life and on a long hike from France to the coast of Spain. A perfect example of how far a rollator can take you when it is built to handle much more than you thought possible.

The fact that our Veloped is being featured in such a technical exhibition shows how new, modern technology can be used to create freedom of movement and safety. Not just in theory, but in real life.

A result of engineering and everyday life

The Veloped was developed in 2006 in a development project on fall prevention at KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. It was there that the realization arose that many people avoid assistive devices, even though they would benefit greatly from them. Often because they do not fit the life the user actually lives.

It was the start of something new. A rollator that works in real life. On gravel roads, in gardens and over curbs. For you who want to continue doing what you've always done.
